Polaris's web hosting company, due to a payment mistake on their part, deleted all of our unbacked up data. We're in the process of restoring the board from year old backups and integrating them into the new forum software, while also leaving room to restore the missing year of posts by hand.

Furthermore, our interim board was attacked and is currently unavailable pending new software. Until then, all are welcome to the interim interim on the Ermarian Network.

Rejoice, ye people of Polaris!

For our beloved board is restored, and lo, it is as prophesied, for the backups of 2005 have been brought back with nary a glitch.

Yet even amid our revelry, there is also sorrow: The past year and all it brough, for good or for ill, has been lost forever.

It is now only our unity and activity as one community that can bring our board back to its former glory, and in that sense, I would welcome you back to Polaris!
